Sterilization

Hygiene is extremely important to Dr Lehmann.

This includes any of her dental equipment which is heat sterilised after use.

All of the equipment used is either autoclaved (super steam heat treated) or thrown away after a single use.

What is an AutoClave

An autoclave is a device to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure steam at 121° C or more.

A medical autoclave is a device that uses steam to sterilize equipment and other objects. This means that all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are inactivated.
